Yeah! I get to go to Florida to help with my grandkids for 9 days!!! My son has to go on a business trip, so he is flying me down there to help his wife with the kids. She has an anxiety disorder and has panic attacks, so I am hoping for the best. I'll be able to give her some much needed breaks, so she can get out of the house for some private time. I'm soooo excited!

Regarding panic attacks, I have someone close to me that had them in the past. You should remember to stay calm and speak softly to her. Remember she's not dying, although she may feel like it at the time. After a little time it will subside. You may have already had experience with them, but they are quite unsettling the first one you see, so I wanted to share that.
Tip to help with an anxiety attack:
-Look around you.
-Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you
can smell and 1 thing you can taste.
This is called grounding. It can help when you feel like you have lost all control of your
surroundings.

I too do not like flying but a pilot I know told me you have to remember the pilots want to go home to their families too. My give you some peace! Safe flight! Suzanne

I live in central FL & we have recently had daily rain. The nice thing is, it usually rains fast & then the sun comes out! Hope you enjoy your time with the "grands". Spoil, Spoil, Spoil!

Here in Georgia, we have been having 100 degree temps, and very little rain. So, perhaps more rain in Florida (as someone stated) will make this summer visit more pleasant for you!! Have fun!
