Thank you for posting week 7. What type of material and stabilizer did you use. There is not a pucker in sight! Very, very professional. Looking forward to your post for week 8 and then, your overall project. Have you decided what to do, or is it a mystery?

Thanks, I always use 2 layers of cut-away .This one I hooped a layer of sticky vilene and laid the cut-away underneath. My fabric in this stitch out is Moda Grunge. It comes in a lot of colors.
It had a dry brush effect on it. Like a shabby chic.

So, you only hooped the layer of sticky vilene (not familiar with this but will search for it today)? The fabric was not hooped? I like the Moda Grunge fabric too!

Not on this one. I first stretched the layer of sticky vilene or sticky WSS may be called Sew n wash around my inner hoop. It should be drum tight. I'll search for a link so you can see it and p.m. you. Then I placed my ironed and starched fabric on top. After placing that on my machine I slide 2 layers of cutaway underneath the hoop. Some times I just use a little 505 on the cutaway and just lay the fabric on top...I have strength issues so I try different ways til it works.

This is a fantastic stitchout! Your thread choices are just perfect. I too would like to know your secrets to getting such a flat design! I don't seem to be able to get designs to lays so crisply.

I just love these designs and glad you Cuties steered me to this site. I haven't stitched a one out yet. Love seeing them stitched out--no puckers, as usual--one day a perfect stabilizing and fabric will work for me.
