a tea towel; I love the added ruffle that I learned from Kay & Bev. It is such a great way to dress up a towel. I received a tea towel from my ss last year & she did the top hanger part like this & it works so well I decided I had to give it a try to so here it is & I hope that she likes that she inspired me to make one too

thanks very much ,now**** how wide and how long is your ribbon and how far down on the towel did you sew it??
5 inches wide & 45 inches long (but you could make it a wee bit longer for a nicer bow) & I stitched it on the towel 6 inches from the top down. These are without 1/4"seam allowances
ok thanks i will half to try one soon hugs
they tie up beautifully in places where otherwise I would not be able to have a towel

I think you could untie the bow and use it as an apron too since the ties seem to be long enough. Very cute idea!

thanks & that is a good idea too mmm..........may have to try that one out. ~hugs~

Excellent! Your SS has asked me to tell you that "I am pleased that she liked her towel well enough to make another one like it. I like the added ruffle too. May have to try that."
