standard on the shoulder strap is 22" over the shoulder is 28-30 also depends on how tall the person is...but these are standard ~hugs~
These are cross shoulder bags. I made the straps 54" long.
I make mine long too, gwillmann and put an adjustable slide so they can get their personal fit.

Thanks. Yes, I was just going to make one for my sister Lynn whose birthday is next week but Lynn and I were lunching with our niece Leslie and her daughter Alexandria (nick named Lexi) so I made 3 and let each pick the one they liked.
