This is so cute! I just love the look of determination on the ant's faces! You did a really great job combining designs too. The fabric is just delicious. I have a similar string of ants like you have in the first photo. I put it on an apron and added my name, "Ant Antsy" because that is what my great niece called me instead of "Aunt Nancy", lol! Call me up when you are ready to have a picnic!

Nancy, I love your story about Ant Ansty and it brings to mind a similar mispronunciation story. When we were young we had an aunt named Aunt Annie but for years my sister thought her name was Ann Tanny.
What a sweet little story of Ann Tanny, queenofhearts! My neice's other aunt is named "Fonda" but when she was little she called her "Aunt Funny" and still does 30 plus years later ;)
Leaha, I will gladly wait to picnic once the weather cools. Not sure where you live but here in Georgia it is terribly hot and the humidity is fierce this year! We could always picnic inside. Did that many times when my sons were young. The plus side of that is no ants other than your adorable ones you embroidered!

Nancy, we are in western Missouri=MISERY temps and humidity are rough. Walking outside is like a sauna or getting covered by a wet wool blanket. As kids we did the same thing of picnicking inside. No ants. Thanks.
