UPDATE-Avery is coming home with a deep suction tube for her machine.FINALLY, Praise the Lord!- They pumped her with IV fluids to try to help thin the secretions. ....This maybe shouldn't be talked about but she also has, and patients like her have, bodily function troubles. Although they were working, wasn't enough movement. X-Ray showed she had a place in her intestine that was like impaction. They say even though there is an impaction, some can still get through, because she had BM's everyday. Mom will be home with her the next three days. Thanks for prayers and I'm sorry I didn't up-date you sooner, kinda had my hands full-Toogie....Cuties, our girl has problems and had to go to the ER and then was admitted. The Dr. doesn't think it is anything to do with the surgery on the 21st. She has really been doing well.I had her Tuesday and she was fine, laughing as usual, her old self. Yesterday about 11 am she started choking on her saliva. I tended to her and she was ok. Then about 3 pm,she was excreting more than she could handle, bibs were soaked, etc. and I had to keep the hand suction pump and her right by me. I called mom after the 3pm episode. I told her it happened earlier but then she was ok and seemed to be ok again. Mom wanted to see if someone else could see the rest of her patients and I told her no, she already missed work from Avery's surgery. If things got more than I could handle I would call 911- WELL, about 5pm right before mom arrived, Avery started choking and i tried the hand pump, I couldn't get it with that and I had a paper towel in my hand. I had to literally pull her clear plhem or saliva out, it was so thick. No reason she was choking! Well, mom & pops to her to ER and now in hospital for observation. She was worn out after the last episode and to be honest I was glad when they left for the ER. My husband said, she never laughed yesterday and she was very quiet, not herself at all. Mom sent me a photo of her screaming and crying in ER like now in pain. I cried then....Just keep her in thoughts and prayers today. This has been a scary time. ...I only have Nora today and she is still sleeping. I should be too, as Ashley and I text all though the night. Mason went to Nora's grandparents, after they got home from church last night, they came here. Sorry to give you bad news, she was doing so well, but I know Cuties have 'adopted' her and I know you'd want to know. -Toogie
