Scissor Holder-Lidia's design-I love this design and would have like to have done it justice but I will score an 'F'. My first mistake [even though I had the directions right next to me] was I forgot to cut the black stabilizer with the felt where the front satin stitching is. 2nd mistake--my duckbill scissor wouldn't let me cut as close as I needed to before all the satin stitched edges so tried my little spring scissor--it is getting dull. Next time I am going to pull out every pair of scissors I have. The file is perfect but I'm not!!! Going to have another go at this and probably another and another. Thank you Lidia for sharing-Dang it--yours are perfect!!!

This turned out well and you know what you want to.... not do next time that is the A+ part and non of us are perfect nor will be be as long as we live on this earth. I love the colors chosen it is a very nice scissors holder.

Looks ok to me, i have just made a few scissor holders in felt different designs for my sewing group as presents. Takes a while, but you will get there, each time we do something we can always improve with the next project. Sandra.

Thank you to all you kind Cuties-I'm definitely going to try again but a little later on--want to try a keyfob next. We must learn from our mistakes and I don't stay at this work often . This scissor holder file was kindly shared with me by Lidia--the design was a VIP freebie from Emblibrary or one of their monthly designs--not sure since folder upstairs. Their site has special sales and offers.

The design is from EmbLib: G9502 Scissors Filigree. As peafarm said, it was part of one of their VIP offerings, so is not available on their site (that I can find).

We are often our own worst critics. Making mistakes is how we learn new things, besides, who says everything we do has to be perfect? I always end up with some boo boo somewhere, and that's ok. This is a fantastic design for this project! I'm looking for a scissor design and I think this is perfect!

I agree only on the letter "F" but it stands for FABULOUS! You did a great job and the embroidery design is just gorgeous!
