This is a log cabin quilted jacket made from a sweatshirt. All ribbing cut off and all seams opened to lay flat. Made all the log cabin squares and pieced together to make 'fabric' to fit both front pieces and the back--also cotton lining to fit each piece. Then I quilted in the ditch etc to sweatshirt pieces and reassembled. I finished the edge with bias strips made from the lining cotton.

Thank you all for commenting. Yes it is warm and fits very well. I love to wear it. Everyone told me the cotton would stick to my clothes and be hard to slide on but no, it doesn't. It was fun to make.
