I've acquired some more jeans to recycle, they are supposed to be for a rag rug, but I couldn't resist doing something more interesting! The bag is my own design, made in the 230mm x 300mm hoop, but I have added the decorative design from the Urban Threads Folk Art set.
The lining was a chambray shirt. Isn't it a pity we can't recycle thread?
The fastener is magnetic.

This purse you've made looks lovely &really enjoy both the upcycling as well as the bird design on it. Wondered where this design might be found. Thanks for sharing your work. :~D

I like the shape of this bag and the way the bottom of the flap curves a little. Nicely done!

Really cute bags!! I throw my balled up old thread outside and it doesn't take long to see it in a lot of my birdies homes .

I must try that!
My grand-daughter just told me that when she brushed the winter hair out of her dog she left it in a corner on her lawn. Later she saw bird nests in the bushes that were cozily lined with that hair! This is not sewing related but went with the bird nest theme. I, too, leave very small pieces of fabric and thread in one corner of my yard each spring. It seems to disappear!! :-)

Looks lovely. Outstanding recycling.
Luckily we can recycle knitting yarn - not that I need it with my stash, but when shove comes to push there are those outdated jumpers :)
