Hi Cuties, Just popping in to say, yesterday was the best day Avery had, since she got sick Wednesday. She hasn't completely recovered, but hopefully with each new day, she will. I don't think I can catch up, with replying to each comment about when Avery was hospitalized, and I do apologize sincerely for not even trying.

I think sometimes we need/have to take a break in life, even though it may just be an afternoon break. This evening was my break.
After morning services, we went out for lunch. On the way to our favorite place, I asked hubby after we ate to lets just take a drive. We ended up 1 1/2 hours away, found a Hancock Fabrics store (imagine that-lol) where I was able to only get enough Baby Dry for 2 more pads for Avery.
This town was where we met the nice elderly couple, when I bought my Brother PE750D, from her. We decide to pay them a visit. They were so glad to see us again and before we left I bought something else from her. She says they are starting to downsize, or at least she is ready to 'let go' of some of her things. He is 82 and she says he has a harder time letting go.

They are such an interesting couple. He was in the Air Force, a pilot, woodcarver, author/writer. He is working on a rocking horse, actually two at the moment. We didn't see them today, but we had seen one he made earlier. When we go back, I hope to bring my camera and take some photos of his work. This was a much needed outing for me, and I throughly enjoy a good visit, with 'adults'-lol

Going back to Avery-when they came home from the hospital at noon Friday, they came here until bedtime. Ashley slept most of the afternoon, so we could watch Avery. Ash was worn out. Last night she broke down and cried... I do the same thing. I can hold up fairly well, while I need to, but when its over I collapse with crying and fatigue. It just drains you emotionally and physically. I am okay, but please add mom (Ashley), along with Avery, to your prayers.
Again, I don't mean to be rude, for not responding to each earlier comment personally, so please excuse me. I truly appreciate all the prayers and comments we have read. Thank you again-Toogie

Hello Toogie,

Dear Toogie, I agree with the others, no need to respond especially when you have so much to contend with. Ashley and Avery and of course the rest of your family are upheld with daily prayers. So glad to read Avery is responding to treatment and is improving daily. I'm also happy to read that you took some "you" time. What a bonus to just happen to find a Hancock's fabric store and of course to see your friends. Love Chris

Toogie, there is no need for you to respond individually. I know we all understand. I am so glad to hear that Avery is home and responding well and on the way to recovery. I keep her in my prayers and also Ashley and you. It is a good thing you had a break yesterday and were able to visit with friends and find some nice fabric. You needed to get away for awhile from all the pressure. Take it easy and rest when you can and take care of yourself. Hugs, Mary

Toogie, I am so glad Avery is better. Believe me, I do understand the emotional and physical strain it is for you all to go through the worry and caretaking of a loved one! Mothers tend to stay strong through it all for the rest of the family, but when we get alone, we have to let it out! Crying relieves a lot of the stress, and resting, the fatigue. Then, it all starts over, until the weight of worry is lifted!
My prayers continue for Avery health, and strength for all the family!
Hugs, Angel
