I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the afternoon with our favorite God-daughter today & so we sewed together. She is 11 & this is her first try I gave her material to practice first & she used the Serger & did a rolled hem & then worked on the reg machine Of this I did very little she even did the rotary cutting. She is a natural She chose the fabrics threads & the designs & what to make too. I simply offered her free roam in my studio lol I am very proud of her. She lives about an hour or so away from us so is not here in town to often except when she comes to see her gramma so I hope she can come again

Fantastic Job! I got to stitch with my 8 y/o yesterday and forgot to get a picture-We were at my sewing club--boo hoo only 2 other women showed up! Nice to get them started early.

If they want to sew I think it's wonderful. Some ( my girls) really don't seem to have time to sew......Another reason I am thrilled that this one does lol. Thanks & I hope you get another opportunity to sew & take pics too. ~hugs~
