Dear Carolyn, I'll certainly pray that John receives the help he needs and for you to 'rest' up a bit! You certainly do so much sewing and take on so much. Love Chris

You both need a day off! You are pushing your energizer battery. Pressing all those embroidery hoops will reek havoc on the wrist. I only hoop the stabilizer and have done so for years. Hope your hubby gets some relief. Kay

Praying for you both to get relief from all the pain, not easy living like that and as for your wrist, you are going to have to give yourself a kick in the butt do that you slow down girl. That isn't easy either.

Hugs and prayers for both of you. I understand how it is with arthritis - it runs in my family as well. It is so frustrating when you cannot do the things you want/need to do to get through the day. Hope John gets some relief after his Dr visit this week.

Oh, Carolyn, am so sorry to hear of this issue with John and your wrist....
Wish we live by you so we could help you out with some of the work that you have to do.......have you tried icing your wrist? Does John have rheumatoid arthritis?

Prayers for you both--ASK Dr. if wrist pain can be due to Carpal Tunnel and he may need a heart Dr. to rule out Congestive Heart--I am told by my heart Dr. to watch swollen ankles-one of the first signs of Congestive heart failure--I don't want to scare you but I have both--just have to take water pill if needed and blood pressure meds. Then had surgery both wrists for Carpal Tunnel but also needed Thumb Joint replacements--right hand twice. I'm not a Dr. and I'm not playing one but when I am aware of the symptoms I will spread the word. It's important to be aware.

Hi Carolyn I have had both knees left hip and left shoulder all replaced with osteo arthritis .Both knees were done at same time and hip and shoulder at same time later on as well . i still have pain but it is manageable . i still take meds 1 x tramadol 200m slow release twice daily and 2 x paracode 4 times daily . I think that the pain is coming from all the rest of my bits that are wearing out . I have found that the slow release tramadol works better than just ordinary . Ask the dr about them they may help , Good luck to both of you I hear what you are saying .

Will do- have you heard of Melt exercises? Easy to do, a few minutes, I find they actually relieve pain for tendinitis and stiffness. Google it, saw it on Dr Oz.
