Wanted to share what Amy's dear little dog looks like. She has had a bad start to her life with them. The first week they got her one of Amy's friends children dropped Maisie and she received a fractured leg. So in a cast for 4 weeks. It didn't work and so they had to break the leg and reset it and realign the ligament because it wasn't done properly in the first place. The Vet's acknowledged that and reduced the cost of the operations - and so they should have! Anyway, Amy and Steve have been keeping her covered in so she couldn't jump as she is still such a lively puppy. So since she arrived at Amy's (in April) she's been confined!!! Well, this is what she looks like now - what a difference. Amy, Steve and the girls prefer her a bit scruffy but we can at last see those soul penetrating eyes now. Isn't she gorgeous?

Love Chris

Morning Shirley, I see it's still cold down in Tassie! She is gorgeous isn't she? That bottom picture was the first one Amy had of her only about 8 weeks old! She is now 5 months old and such a gorgeous fun loving dog - can't wait to see her. Love Chris

Hi Kay, she is an Apricot Groodle - Golden Retriever crossed with a Poodle and the hair is slowly coming back on her back right leg. Love Chris

Hi Kim, yes it was a shame. I too like her a bit scruffy, she just loves getting into the garden and running around! Love Chris

She is growing up a nice looking dog, shame she had to loose those baby curls.. Now she's clean it will be a job to keep her out of the garden and looking so pretty

Hi Chris, the girls love her unconditionally. Natalie is doing well and should be coming home soon. She will live with her Mum for a while. Natalie and her hubby have to work out what to do about the children as they have only recently separated. We are all just so grateful that she is o.k. and has no brain damage. Love Chris

We just got a miniature Golden Doodle puppy that looks so much like your daughter's sweet dog, when she first got her. Later in the week, when I get a chance, I will post a picture of our Winnie (as in Winnie the Pooh). Sweet dog, I hope her leg is healing fast!! Hugs, Laura*

Can't wait to see your little dog. Maisie is a GROODLE (which is a Golden Retriever crossed with a Poodle). I popped into see her today and she was running around the back yard like nothing was wrong. I noticed though that she sometimes favours the leg and hops a bit, but she needs to build up the muscle it's so much smaller than the back left leg. Love Chris

Poor baby! She needs a do over; not of the broken limb but of her start in her new forever home. Love her colors.

That's just about right Leaha, she is so scrummy (means scrumptious). Everyone just wants to cuddle and caress her. Yes, her colours are just gorgeous. Love Chris

Oh, she is so adorable and I am glad she has such responsible pet parents that are taking great care of her.......has the trauma of this changed her personality at all?
