Here are the lastest requests I have had.......the heart keyfob I changed the tab outline to match the heart so it is not straight across where it meets the heart.....these will be up on my website later.........I wish I was a better trimmer.......am still looking to get some pinking shears to help my border look nicer........

Pinking shears only work on some designs, mostly where you have straight edges and are not curving in and out. I trim from both sides (back and front) of the fob so I am always going in the same direction, (not sure if that makes sense).

Perfect sense and thank you for the tip.........I think I was better at cutting when I was in Kindergarten........

Fingers were more nimble then.

I use a very large pair of scissors and move the material as I cut around

I'm glad you are doing lots of fobs. I struggle with trimming too. Thank goodness for small sharp scissors with curved blades. They have helped me do a better job. Notice I said better, not a perfect job.

I hear ya Karen!!!! Love Chris

P.S. I used curved scissors on all of my applique and couldn't do it without them. It makes it so much easier when the satin stitch goes on.

You are doing a great job on them all Vicki. I reckon it would be hard to use pinking shears on these small items. Maybe someone could invent a small pair like our little curved scissors! Any takers out there?

Love Chris
