Hi gals, I've done another 2 designs today for Cohen's quilt - a Deer and a Moose . I've made them in the 5x7 hoop and so far they are all Applique. I've cut the squares 7x7. I want to do some brighter ones for the next few like the little deer. I'm not sure how many I'll make as yet, but I'll keep on going till I feel as if there are enough. Love Chris

(The little deer is from SWAK, the Moose is from Blastostitch.)

Keep up the great work Chris! Wanted to tell you, check your newsletter from Emb Library. They have some applique critters for 1.29 each, but you may have these already...What size are you going to make this quilt, crib,twin,etc?

Hi Toogie, yes I saw those when I got their newsletter. They are a bit small unfortunately. I'm using ones that are 5x7 or bigger and just reducing the size. I've tried a 4x4 and enlarged it, but it wasn't as successful. This is going to be a single bed quilt roughly 92cm (3 feet) x 187cm (6 feet). It depends on the final layout of course. Love Chris

Hi Lorraine, nice to see you. How's the house selling going? Naomi has asked for soft blues, but I'm using a bit of poetic licence (in my case fabric choices) and choosing some interesting applique fabrics. Love Chris

That's o.k. sbott - I've decided to add some ME ones to make more patches. I've just bought that one and have downloaded them all. Whilst there I bought a Christmas applique set too. All the sets are only about $10.00 so was pleased with my purchase. Thanks so much for keeping me in mind. Love Chris
