Here is my project for the day........there is a "Remembrance Walk" that is annual and it is for any and all parents who lost a child or (children), so Andi got these shirts made up with Emmett's pic on the front...she got them done at Walmart for $8.41 each and that includes the shirt.....great price, right? and the reproduction of the pic is amazing, his full name is printed on top of his pic........anyway, it was decided to add Team Emmett to the backs, so of course I volunteered......I used my ripple alpha over silver glitter monkey grip and really like the way it turned out....I have them all stitched, but this is the only one I have done with the excess monkey grip taken off.... Also at the end of the walk there is a brick wall and you can buy a brick and have your childs name and dates put on it, so of course, that has been done for Emmett.......I think this walk will help by being around so many who have lost so much.......The walk is the First Sunday in October......thanks for looking and listening....
“A wife who loses a husband is called a widow. A husband who loses a wife is called a widower. A child who loses his parents is called an orphan. There is no word for a parent who loses a child. That’s how awful the loss is.”
