I checked it out on the internet. It says it will be available in October. Need to save my pennies. Cost is $2999. I have a Janome 350e but sure do love the new 500E. I think the main difference is the bigger hoops.

I have a Janome 300E. Looks very interesting. Will see my dealer when available. Would love to have the bigger hoop and some of the other stuff it does. thanks for letting us know it was coming.

Just rang my machine shop and they don't know the price yet but will try to find out next week for me. The Janome Australia site is giving a release date of October as well.

I am so excited.....have been eagerly waiting for a bigger hoop capability! I have the mc350e at present!
Its priced at US $2999....that is what its mentioned on the official website!

Lady at the machine shop called me back and said Janome Australia doesn't have a price yet. She is thinking it will be around $4,000 mark due to the dollar falling and if you convert the currency that is about right. We have a craft show coming to Brisbane in October so the machine might be launched then.

I saw my local Janome dealer yesterday and he didn't know anything about this new machine. He stated he had just been to a Janome Dealer's meeting 3 weeks earlier and it wasn't mentioned at all. Interesting.

It will be released here in UK next month, along with the MC14000. I think the latter is a cheaper version of the MC15000 with fewer bells and whistles. I'm looking forward to having a play with them when they appear!

For the Queensland Cuties the machine will be at the Brisbane Craft show in October.

Well I just got a call from machine shop and the introductory price will be AUST $2,699 regular retail $2,999. Only downside for Australia is we will only get the 2 hoops 200x280 = 7.9x11inches and 200x200= 7.9x7.9 inches. Where as USA will get the 4 hoops. 5x7 and 5x5 sizes as well.
The shop said they have just received one and as soon as it is unpacked and they have been to a training session they will call and do a demo.
