Can anyone please help? I have a topaz 30 embroidery machine and I lost the dongle. It is 5D extra. Do you know of any place to get one? Mine was red and I can use a purple one my sister has on hers. Thanks

Have you checked on E bay or a dealer who sells the machine? Sometimes they can order you one. Welcome to cute too! Suzanne

I hate to tell you that Husqvarne will only replace a dongle if you hand in the old one. Terrible service I know. Will not buy their software ever again.
Hope you find it or try software from S computing. Cost very little and no dongle.

Oh, so sorry to hear this...I do not know about Husqvarna, but most software companies will not replace a dongle unless it is damaged and you turn it in for a new one...good luck...and Big Welcome to Cute!

Same applies to Husqvarna, it is the one item that ensures the software can not be copied and used by a new user. When you can produce your damaged or broken dongle it costs you about €60 to get a new one. If not you have to buy new software. So look in every nook and cranny and see if you can find it. Good luck!

I'd say to look in new places for that dongle... between the cushions on the couch, move the couch and look in the springs!, under everything, in with whatever you have been making, or are planning to make, pieces of fabric, in your drawers where you keep other media, It is probably somewhere, and that is much easier than buying a new one. I hope you can find it and soon!

Hi Theresa, I damaged my dongle last year and had to buy a new one. It cost me a few hundred dollars (I'm an Australian). You will need to have proof from your original purchase. Luckily for me my agent knows me very well. I do hope you take Jan's advice (hightechgrammy) and do a thorough search of every place in your sewing room and around the house and the bins etc. Good luck in getting it all sorted out and welcome to this great site. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
