Hi all....I have never used this category, but I will start posting any of my non embroidery items here......it is so important to keep Veronika's website organized...so here is the Checkerboard rib scarf that I posted earlier, by mistake, in the projects....there are 3 pics.......2 of them show the real green color and the last close up shows it in the wrong color, but I wanted you to get a close up view of the pattern.....it is a free pattern on Lion Brand site....

Like Mops I knitted a whole sweater for my husband in this pattern. This waffle texture makes for a very warm scarf. Well done and enjoy.

Very nice, should be toasty warm. Love the items that I have that were made from Lion Brand yarns and have items in both the green and blue you have shown and also a brown I believe is from the same line or one that is very similar. Could not believe the fortune I had of finding a wide scarf- 24" x 84" plus a long fringe to both ends adding another 15", that we found at a thrift store being sold as a baby blanket in the blue shown, though stitched in a different pattern. We still get a laugh that they argued with me that it was not marked incorrectly and it was a baby blanket but if they were to change the category of the item, the charge would be more. I laughed and said if they wanted to call it a baby blanket then that was OK, but it was the longest, skinniest baby blanket we had ever seen, but that I just needed to be honest enough to let them mark it correctly, prior to my purchasing the item. So my family laughs and teases me at times of using my "baby blanket". Soft and snuggly it would make an awesome baby blanket too, I just would not recommend making a baby blanket over 8 foot long, but I sure LOVE mine! Pam

This is a beautiful creation. You have such wonderful talents!!
One day I will learn how to knit and crochet -- but I may be very old when I get time to do that. ;)
Thank you for re-posting here in the community section.

This is a great scarf Vicki, I actually like it in the 'wrong colour' better, as I'm a Purple/blue lover! Well done, love Chris
