Thank you, Lillian!! We are very close to Lake Michigan - which can be as ferocious or as calm and beautiful as any ocean. However, we do get to spend a few weeks at the beach in Florida too!

Interesting effect! I, also have a pair of woven design towels that I have been trying to figure what to put on them. I was thinking applique, but now I wonder about Embossed. Nice job! Kay
