It is truly beautiful Vicki, reminds me so much of the Bauernmalerei European folk painting style. No wonder you need a rest! I used to do Folk Art, so I know. Love Chris

A beautiful Design, but Sancta Simplicitas seems to be a misnomer - nothing simple digitising it! I used to paint in the Hindelopen style and must say it is far easier to dip your brush in a few colours and make a circle or leaf shape than digitising those resulting colour variations. Well done!

I knew you would appreciate the time consuming effort here....I was most excited about the layerings when I stitched it out and nothing puckered.....I used to do the Dewbury one stroke version of painting and loved it, but had to give some stuff up for the knitting & embroidery....
thank you for your kind words.........

Figuring out the thread colors alone would take me hours and hours! I can't imagine how tricky digitizing this was, but well worth the effort. A fabulous outcome!
