I'm back, have missed you all, sooooo busy. The family reunion was a huge hit unfortunately I missed part of it. I ended up in the hospital ER for 30 hours, I was worried that I was having another diverticulitus attack but luckily it was a stomach virus. I think the fatique and stress had a lot to do with it as well. I am so happy that I will not have to cancel my surgery on the 30 of Sept. It will be a difficult time but that will be a problem solved.
I was the scheduled cook for Saturday night with the menu being Beef Wellington and Salmon en croute with my DIL. My children did me proud as they decided to do it for me. Everyone ooh and ahh about their fantastic meal the rest of the weekend, I have the greatest kids ever. On Saturday was scheduled the costumed dance and I was dissapointed about missing that however when hubby and I arrived at the Inn that we had rented for the weekend, imagine my surprise to find my entire family, (36) all dressed in costume and standing on the front steps to greet me with lots of applause, hugs and even more kisses. The tears were lowing then. I am so BLESSED that I need to pinch myself. I have the best, loving family one could possibly ask for and more.
The unpacking is going well. I will start with fabric and sewing room items today. Had the contractor in last week and hopefully it will be done before too long. Have been shopping online looking for ways to make it pretty and at the same time not to expensive. So many things to buy for the new house. I have two weeks let before my surgery and want to make the best of them as I will be laid up for a while. I am also behaving myself and trying to rest my weary body so that I am in top shape for the end of the month. Good news is all this worry, work etc, has helped me on my weight loss program and I am now down 28 lbs. YOUPEE for me. Only 5 more to go for my goal weight.
So for now I am missing my embroidery machine, I am taking that time to put together some new baby basket design series. Have not taken decent pictures yet of our new place so I will have to make you wait just a little longer, I promise to post them ASAP.

Repose-toi bien, Ah oui, félicitations pour avoir ateint ton objectif de pertes de poids. J,ai beau travailler là-dessus, diminuer les portions, faire de la marche, passer moins de temps "assise" ( ordi ou machine à coudre), ça ne bouge pas. Peut-être dû à certains médocs que je dois prendre et qui sont comme contradictoires avec la perte de poids OU je dois persévérer et faire un peu plus d'efforts encore.

Belle famille, belle maison, superbe enfants et conjoint, oui je suis très chanceuse. En plus j'arrive à mon poids qui est si difficile à atteindre quand on vieillie. La vie est belle, rien de moins.

You have been in my thoughts a lot lately. I am still re organizing my sewing room after our basement disaster. I thought I was all set but it seems that the mover/packers re packed a lot of my labeled totes and took the labels off also. I am missing things that are not where they should be...grrr.
