Hello all, here is an update on this surgery.....
I did really well during the surgery and the day of the surgery, but have been having a lot of pain for the last 2 days and nights... I just been trying to sleep a lot and that way I don't concentrate so much on the pain. I just wanted to let y'all know how I was doing and to once again say Thank You for the thoughts and prayers. Thanks again and God Bless y'all. Hello Cuties, I am having foot surgery on Wed. and I am not looking forward to the aftermath....I have fibromyalgia and my back always bothers me a lot, so I know I will have several issues while I am recovering, but am hoping things will go good. Just wanted to ask if y'all could keep me in your prayers. Thanks, Mechille

Thanks... I am hoping to do well... I will be in case after this 1st.. 2 weeks... for another 6-8 weeks because there is also a stress fracture there..... Thanks for the prayers... May God Bless you. Mechille

It would give me great pleasure to bring your name into my prayers. I know what you mean about the back when you have to be down. It helps if your doctor will write you a prescription for muscle relaxers if it doesn't interfere with other medications. Let us know how you fair.

Thanks, I'll try, it's hard to think I'm not suppose to be on it for 2 weeks. I've been trying to see if I can find a place to prop it at my embroidery machine.... cause there's lots that I need to embroidery.....heheheh

Work on designs----maybe spend the time getting all of your designs downloaded and catalogued and organized!!!!! Good luck. God bless you.

Thanks for the prayers and wishes. I am hoping to be able to do my weekly shopping (after all if said and done, after recovery) without being in so much pain and having to stop every little bit, just to pick my foot up and wait for it to stop enough so that I may finish. May God Bless you. Mechille

Yes, I have been having a lot of issues with the Fibro and tried walking on the crutches the other day.... and my back has killed me ever since then..... I can't be on my feet very long at all till it really starts hurting and muscle relaxers just don't seem to be helping. Thanks for your prayers. The folks here at cute are such wonderful people, I knew I would have some prayers if I just ask.

I have had both feet BUILT----flat from birth and now I have arches--not big huge arches but small----lost 1/2 shoe size----wish I could have lost a dress size or two or three!!!!!! Husband has had surgery on both feet also. We have a WONDERFUL foot doctor---have been going to him for about 10 years---every time we see him I take him something I have either knitted or embroidered!!!! He holds out his hands as we are ready to leave and he EXPECTS me to give him something. Thanks to him I can walk!!! And thanks to him my husband can walk. So take it easy---it is great if you only have to be off your feet for 2 weeks---both of mine were 6 weeks---I did have my embroidery machine set up so I could sit in a wheel chair and embroider-----I will be praying for a fast and complete recovery and pray that your back gets better. JESUS IS THE GREAT HEALER!!!! GOD bless you.

Thanks..... Well it will be 2 weeks before they put my cast/boot on..... I have bone spires and they are going to cut the tendon in my foot and remove the spur also.... I have a stress fracture so they both take about 6-8 weeks in the cast//boot so we're doing them both at the same time... he just said he couldn't put me in the cast/boot until the stitches came out......

Look positive and say I am going to be fixed!!! Bless you. I have had fibromyalgia for many years and the only thing that really helps me is a regular routine of exercise. I think Pilates is my favorite. Kay

Thanks Kay, I have hoped to start exercising soon. I have just been having so many issues, as you know what all there is to deal with the fibro, maybe after all this is over with I will be able to start with walks and then work back up to yoga..... I use to do it years ago and loved it... but haven't been able to in awhile because of the back issues. Thanks for your prayers and I hope your fibro gets better also. I've only been diagnosed for almost a year, but have had this issue for about 4 years now... just took them this long to figure out that's what it is..... I really think I may also have CFS with it.... do you have CFS with yours? Hope you are well. Take care and God Bless you. Mechille
