This quilt I am going to keep. It was a UFO from last year and I finally finished it today.

Beautiful! I am in total AWE of anyone who quilts. Thanks for sharing, even if you are keeping this one! lol

I know. I used to feel the same way. I would look at those small pieces of material sewn together and thought to myself "Wow I never will have the patience".Once I got into quilting I found out that there are many ways of doing it and it was really not as complicated. Now I really like quilting and donate them. I do it for the fun of it.

It's dynamic. Somewhere between Valentine's and African art and Modern art and Timeless! So different in the color choices, too. A true original.

It looks great. I love the colors. I have a ufo small lap size quilt that just needs a binding. I should finish it.

Thanks. I think we all have ufos. Bindings are perfect for TV listening. I tried doing them on the machine. One side is fine, but I never succeed doing the second side to where I like it. I give up and hand sew.

This is terrific!!! I don't quilt and I do enjoy all you cuties who do quilt. I appreciate all your precision and time involved. Especially to have to send out to be quilted and then bind them. So much time involved! Kay

Thanks Kay. I did not send this quilt to be quilted, I quilted it myself by sewing a blanket stitch around every heart. Makes it look as if it was appliqued on like in the old days.
