I was wondering if an Aussie cutie can help me.On Aug 25th I bought & paid with pay pal a couple of small items from China on ebay.28 days later it hasn't arrived so I emailed the sender who sent me a tracking number which said the item arrived at 6am 3rd Sept Australia , no city mentioned.The tracking site that they used is in Malaysia & didn't work for me.
Can anyone tell me where to look for parcels coming into Australia through customs ? It should be a padded envelope

Sorry Judy, I don't know. I would write back again to the company you bought it from and get them to help you find the tracking number etc. from Malaysia. There has to be someone who knows where it has been sent! Love Chris

The seller has sold over 260,000 items with 99.8% rating .It is annoying because it is taking so long & I want the item to finish my project.The same thing here costs 3 times as much & probably comes from China in the first place.

I cant help you much but atleast can share my experience!
I have purchased afew times from ebay and received every shipment but it took ages (afew months) every time to be delivered to me here in Saudi Arabia! Many of the sellers dont provide any tracking for international shipments but yes you can email the seller and they do respond! Hope you receive your parcel soon :)

Had that problem with a item I posted in our state, it went to the wrong towns Post Office box where it sat for 6 weeks before they sent it to the right address.

Since you have a tracking number try the following:
austpost.com.au and look for the panel for tracking an item.

My daughter has an internet business and uses post and customs, her advice is to be patient. Even in Australia Aust Post is quite unreliable these days. Hugs Marg

Our postman must have a new bike because we don't hear his squeaky one any more , so we never know if he has been or not unless we get mail

I'm also waiting on a parcel which entered Australia on August 28th. The tracking site did state that the number cannot be tracked once inside Oz so I'm also waiting .. It'll turn up, just be patient :)

Never had a problem before ,usually cleared customs in a day or two.Thought it might have been because it was from Asia.

Could be held up in customs. You can contact Aust post and they will be able to tell you if it is there.
Keep checking as I once had a parcel go to Austria and just sat there. It was correctly addressed with post code and everything. Most sellers are very good and will chase things up for you.
Your delivery could be slow because of the strike action at the moment that is Customs not just at the airport.
