Did anyone else get up at a silly time to see the moon? This is what it looked like here at 3.30 this morning.

Thought about setting the alarm and then fell asleep thinking about it. Beautiful picture. Thank you Sue.

It wasn't so late for us 9:30 p:m and it was beautiful to watch. Great picture, couldn't see anything on our pictures (I think it was the operator that was the problem (hubby) lol.

We went out and checked several times, but had pretty solid cloud cover here. Thanks for sharing your moon with us. :)

My pictures showed I needed to use a tri-pod... Your picture is very well done!
I was able to see the moon and it was early enough that the boys could see it before they went off to bed.

This would have been better with a tripod, but it wasn't a good time of day for messing about!

Yes I did and was well worth it. I listened to radio 5 at the same time and it was very interesting and informative. Jake unfortunately was not too impressed at being woken up in the middle of the night. My photos didn't work...

A "Blood Moon". Was unable to see because of cloud cover.

Set the alarm clock, got up at 4.15 our time and watched the cloud cover.
Waiting for my daughter's pictures - Stavanger had a cloudless night, all rain came down when we were there.

Same here, but I was fortunate enough not having to get up for it. 7:45 pm was a nice hour.

For me it was around 8 pm so that wasn't too bad. I didn't see the full super moon. I did see the partial eclipse after the super moon!

Am in southern Spain. Went to sleep with cloudless sky and clear moon. Got up at 3.30 to see this fabulous orange moon and found it had clouded over. so frustrating. Lovely to see some pictures of it. Thanks it looks so beautiful.

How frustrating for you. I was expecting the same here as we have been having autumnal misty mornings.

The moon already was in eclipse by the time it was rising at sunset from behind the mountains here in the Pacific time zone. It was beautiful in the darkening sky.

Yes, I just happen to wake at 3.15. I got a glass of water and stood on the step at the back door and looked at it for a couple of mins. G

Just as it was starting here, the clouds rolled in. Don't think I will be around for the next one. LOL

We were lucky in Arizona USA - very clear skies and started at about 06:00 PM so we were able to see the whole eclipse.

Someone usually does shoot some footage, so just keep checking You Tube in the coming days. ((Hugs)) Now no more crying, the footage that people will upload, will likely be better than what we could have taken ourselves could have seen from our area of the states. In time you will see some wonderful up loads. Pam

It was at a reasonable time for me. The clouds came for part of it, however it was wonderful to see.

Great picture Sue! missed this one as generally Oregon's cloud cover prevents our seeing of the current phenomenon. Pam

I managed to catch a glimpse at around 2:20 am from Jeddah and the moon I saw was large and very bright BUT with a bite out of the top right side, about a quarter bite he he Jeddah is GMT+3 so the actual eclipse may not have started yet.
