Good morning ladies, here are two newly finished pieces of crochet for my grand children. The top picture is a set of the long doily plus four round doilies for a salon. This pattern was for the long piece and I did manage to make four full round pieces to match. The second picture shows at the bottom the original pattern, again a long piece plus four smaller doilies. In the top you can see that I added a pineapple to widen the design for a dinning table. I'm happy with both of these sets!! Thank you for looking!!

These are just beautiful, you don't see much crochet in young peoples homes today. I have doilies everywhere, just love them, my sons and wife say it too much work washing and starching. Thanks for sharing these with us. I think they are stunning. Sandra.

Thank you Sandra, I DO NOT starch my doilies, just hand wash (squeeze only) then squeeze dry and I hand block them on plastic. By morning when they are dry they are very soft BUT holding the design.

Dolly- no there is not a crochet machine, at least not yet, but there are digitizers who create free standing lace and try hard to make it look like hand crochet stitches, though the work I have seen from machine stitched designs can not come even close to the work I have seen that you have created. It seems like you must stitch way faster than I can ever hope to be able to! Love the projects you show and how you can alter the patterns in a way to create what you wish from a design. Making your creations uniquely yours. Pam
