UPDATE Maggie's surgery will take place at noon tomorrow EST. Please pray at this time for God to guide the doctors and his team. For healing and acceptance of His will.............................................................................God Bless you all for all you have done. You have been such a Blessing to me and Maggie................................... My eldest sister who has advanced parkinsons, called me tonight to tell me she just found out she has lung cancer and it is blocking her bowel. They are going to do surgery as soon as they can get it scheduled. She will be 74 on the 13th. She is the reason I have any interest in sewing. She taught me how to cook. She taught me how to can foods. I was always under foot. She could not put her shoes on without me saying,"Where are you going?" She has always been there for me and now I can't be there for her.She is over 900 miles away. I don't see a possibility for me going to see her so all I can do is pray and ask all those that can to pray. As soon as my machine comes back from the mechanic I will be making Angels to send to her. Please remember her in your prayers. God Bless, Theresa UPDATE: Maggie's surgery is this Friday. Please pray that day for her to make it through the surgery and heal. I was told today they found cancer in 3 spots. Lung, Liver, and bowel. She never smoked and grew most of her fruits and veggies. Cancer does not care . It grabs anyone at any time.

I will pray for her and for you. I will pray that a way will open up for you to go put your arms around her, as I do realize how much you both need that.
My elder sister also taught me all things to do with the home. She is still the one I turn to in time of crisis and need. She also leans on me now too.
God Bless
God Bless you
I always wanted a sister (I have 4 brothers) so, your description of how close you two are is so very touching. Get a bunch of stamps and send her a written note every day, write about something she did for you while you were growing up. Send her a joke to put a smile on her face - I know you can call her but there is nothing like letters in the mail. Lots of prayers to you and your sister! Hugs and love, Laura*
