Birthday gift!
I made this lovely bag for a special girl turning 18 today. The bag is an ITH project by embroidery gardens (6x10 cross body bag) and is completed in 3 hoopings (1 for the flap, 1 for the inside cc lining, and finally the bag itself). It has two zippered pockets on the front and a large pocket on the back. The rose was added during the construction and is by Urban threads. I also added hardware so she can remove the strap and attach the bag to her belt or belt loops (like bikers wear).
I'm really happy with how it turned out.

That is a great project and you did a wonderful job. I love purple and it goes so well with this fabric.

Her favorite color is purple too. I was hesitant about using a purple rose be used they signify love at first sight, then I read they also stand for royalty. Thine I knew it was perfect. In my eyes she a princess. :)

The rise is from Urban threads. If you get it make sure you get the rigt size. The bag is from Embroidery Garden. It's the cross body bag.
