A friend asked if we could create an ITH purse-- like a hipster-- to carry a mini iPad or reader, etc. I played around this wkend and came up with one that fits my 7" Android tablet. But I'm thinking I might leave my heavy shoulder bag at home, and begin wearing these "body bags"...even thinking about matching some outfits and adding inside pockets...maybe a phone pocket on the back. ?..oops, it is already getting heavy! So easy and fun..can't wait til tomorrow. Seems a lot of us have caught 'purse fever

Great idea. My shoulders hurt sometimes because of a heavy bag. Do we really need all that we carry with us? These smaller ones are great. Love the jester motive

Thx, maybe some more dif jesters from a deco remnant.
Well sooner or later I need everything in my heavy bag. If I listed everything I carry around you would all crack up.lol/Lillian

These are very cute and you have a novel idea with this instead of a purse. :)

Yes, the strap goes around neck and shoulder to allow purse to ride on hip...under jacket or coat....leaves hands free for touching all pretty things.

I love the Harlequin ballet dancer fabric - it is just lovely. Great job on the purses and yes, our handbags are sometimes too heavy. Love Chris

Excellent piece. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I purchased a 3 zip piece and it is too intense. Have not created it yet.

One step at a time! I have a large hoop, but embroidery can be done in small hoop and remainder sewn on reg machine. This was entirely ITH, because friend doesn't sew. Still, eezy peezy either way.

Wish I had grand daughters--they'd be all ''decked'' out. Alas, no grandies.

I have ''jester'' curtains in my kitchen. Hmmm, maybe I will make purses from them!

Cute, I like the jester. Do you sell your designs?
I don't. I've never done anything worth selling. The jester is leftover fabric from kitchen curtains.
