Sorry I have to vet again.

They say things come in 3's Sure hope mine have passed. Had trouble with internet yesterday. Could not get problem resolved. Came into town to connect to Library Wi Fi and can't get that working either. The ladies have been helpful but they also cannot get it to work. Guys are still working on painting the roof and I was nearly driven mad yesterday with the noise they were making above my head and their wireless blaring all day. I sure need a holiday. That is if I have chance to pack in peace. Still waiting for that part for my machine as well. Shirley

Cant help with the WiFi or part but ask those guys to turn it down. I work nights and I'm not shy about asking work crews in the neighborhood to turn things down. They have always been sympathetic and turned things down or even off.

Hopefully they will be finished today. We stayed out all day yesterday. Got home after they had gone. May do the same today.

They may have the radio blaring so that you can't hear their swearing, Shirley. Maybe some of those disposable ear plugs to give you some peace :)

Maybe that is the case. But they are such nice blokes. Regarding the ear plugs I cannot use them as I hear the never ending ringing in the ears more. I have tried my music in the house which helps a little. But being a old house with no insulation I can still hear the noise they make on the roof. I go from room to trying to find a quieter place. But on the good side the roof is looking really good. All the moss that was growing on it has gone and the new paint is looking great.

What a nuisance for you Shirley. Is it the same with headphones? I'm sure the roof restoration will seem worth it once they are gone :)

YES the roof is looking really good. They should be finished this morning so back to the peace we enjoy. They then move onto the Landlord's place to paint some roofs down there.

I do believe I would ask those guys to turn down the music or if you can go back to nice quiet Library and read awhile. Nothing like a good book sometimes./Lillian

Yes I may end up back in the library or maybe down by the river with a book or some knitting today.

I sure am looking forward to the peace and quiet once again. I don't think I could live back in the city with neighbours next door with music and noisy cars etc. lol Shirley

One more makes B-I-N-G-O! Makes you want to scream. I hope things look better by tomorrow.

I don't know about the screaming but I was going around all day yesterday shaking my head. Hubby said I hope no one is following us, they will be wondering what is wrong with you. lol Shirley
