Look what I got today! My birthday was so busy last week and as I had other engagements all week Meg came down today with this gorgeous Orange Cake and a magnificent African Violet plant for me. We had a lovely day and even got a chance to go to my local shopping centre only 300metres away.

Thanks Michelle, it was yummy. We both had to take antihistamines as I'm allergic to Soy (she used Soy products when making the cake) and Meg is allergic to Oranges, ha ha ha! Love Chris

Hi Laffma, no it wasn't fabric shopping. Just bought some nick nacks. I got Mum a toothbrush for her dog, I bought some Heart shaped cake pans and some items for my Christmas ladies lunch. Meg bought a gorgeous resin Sulphur Crested Cockatoo to place in her garden. It was fun and she is a shopaholic!!! Love Chris

Second visit of the day
Ha ha ha! My local fabric shop has closed, which was only 5 minutes away - the ladies retired. I now have to go into Newcastle for a good choice of fabrics. Painful trying to park, but when I'm there I stay for a while! Love Chris

Looks Yummy! I did the math. I counted 10 candles and since your birthday is 8 days before mine, that makes you 8 days older than me, and makes me just 2, same age as Nora!-lol- Glad you had a wonderful time with Meg! Give her a hello for me, and eat an extra piece for me!

I said to Meg have you got 63 candles and she said no. I then said well put 9 on there and we'll just times them by 7! She wanted to have them even, so hence the 10 candles! I sent love from the Cuties. We both had 2 pieces and then had to have antihistamines each! Love Chris
