Boutique Newborn Set

I made this set for a friend's baby shower this weekend. She's having a boy! Since her husband was in the navy I used a nautical theme. All done in the hoop. Designs and font by Five Star Fonts.
Burp, Bib, and Wipe case

I bought these fabrics at Hobby Lobby. I knew I wanted the anchors but wasn't sure if I wanted to use just white as the contrast. The cutting clerk suggested using the red strips too. I was thrilled with the result. She was spot on.

Thank you. I love working with Anita's designs from Five Star Fonts. They stitch so beautifully every time. Takes the guessing work out of it all.

I hope so. The last set I made was a huge hit, but it was for a little girl. :)

Woohoo. These are super easy to make. The hardest part is picking coordinating/themed fabrics. I didn't show the back sides, but the back of the bin and burp are the same red and white stripped fabric as the inside of the wipe case.

Yes, I did concentrate on placement, but this pattern was fair easy to line up and when I realized the little anchors where the perfect width for the zip tag, I actually did a little happy dance. :)
