Yes these are certainly stunning trees. the colour is magnificent when in full bloom. We have a lot in Australia, and one town in particular on the far north coast of Sydney N.S.W. is well noted for it's glorious trees. It is a nice time of the year with all the blossom trees and flowers here in Aus . Roses particularly just love this hot weather. Flowers cheer anyone up. Sandra.

Love them - my tree in the front of our house is flowering and there are little flowers all over our driveway - and they pop when your car drives over them. It makes for careful footing I'd hate for Mum or anyone elderly (thinking of Trev he he he) to slip on the slimy petals. In Grafton up north they have the Jacaranda Festival and it truly is an awesome sight. Not unlike the Cherry Blossom festival in Tokyo and Kyoto (and other cities as well) except our trees are purple and the cherry blossoms are mainly pink. Love Chris

The Jackarandas are native to Brazil and South America.

Gorgeous! Our trees are brilliant yellow and red , now. Giving us a treat before they drop their leaves and Winter rears its head.

The Jacarandas are in full bloom right now in Sydney.
I love it because the Flame trees are also a brilliant red and the Silky Oaks have their feathery orange flowers all at the same time.
So when I see that jacaranda colour, I know to look for the other trees which aren't as showy.
With light rain and a bit of wind, it is 'snowing' purple across the road from me today.

Reminds me of our redbud trees in the spring--tiny purple blossoms---sometimes they're like driving thru purple cloud on our nearby interstate hiway....BEAUTIFUL!

How wonderful! How long do their flowers last approx.? Maybe a stupid
question, I know, because if you get rain and / or wind at the wrong time the flowers are going away suddenly? This happens with the precious

Would love to see this real, we had the first snow last week and the most flowers are gone now. The last days I was with DH and a couple of friends away in the mountains and we did see nothing only fog all the day.
