Hi All,

Hello Everyone,

I have been asked to create the attached as a left chest embroidery for a polo. I am new to embroidery and am using a Singer Futura XL400 machine. I did not feel like a design that will finish roughly 3.5X4" could capture the level of detail so in my first proof I left off the lions, bible and people and moved the church name below the three pointed ovals. I wanted to check here to see if I am being too conservative in my thinking.

I am with you. If they really need the lions rampant, they might have to be enlarged to replace the left and right crosses in the ovals. To include this much detail would probably required a stitchout in an 8x10 hoop.

Being asked and being allowed to do it are two different things. Please make sure that you have written permission to use the logo before you go any further. It may also be that the designer would not want you to simplify it.
Double check everything before you use up any more of your valuable time and get into legal trouble!
BTW Welcome to Cute!

Welcome to Cute. You have two excellent answers but I will also say that there is a lot of detail for a small size.

I would heed Spendlove's advice...if you do not have written permission from the original designer or whomever holds the copyright, you could find yourself in legal trouble...As a new member, Welcome to Cute...I would suggest you read through the Q&A section of the site (link below) and also the Terms & Conditions page for Cute (link also below)...If you are not familiar with Copyright issues...reading through them here on Cute will give you some valuable information...

Are you from the church in Conyers? I'm just up the road from you, if it's the same one I'm thinking about.
