Here is a little bag that I got yesterday from Threads and Scissors. (Sales is over with now.) I'm not sure why the patchwork is off-center since it is a ITH design and there is no way you can move anything except where the machine goes to follow the pattern. I thought that I had the side stitching lines lined up when I put the front panel on the zipper. Next time I will line up the center and not worry so much about the sides.

Beautiful fabrics. You are right with the ITH design it should not be off center. Still it looks very nice.

I went back to the site that I purchased the design and I found that in the picture there the patchwork is not centered on one of the 3 purses pictured, the size that I stitched out. Maybe I will have better luck with the next one.

Oh,dear, have you contacted Colleen? That's not right.
I had a look at the site as well and noticed one size looked as if it was off centre, but I was not sure if it had anything to do with the way it was photographed, at an angle.

I did this little bag again and instead of lining up the stitching lines on the sides I lined up the middle of the patchwork with the center of the zipper and it turned out perfectly centered.
