Just upgraded to Windows 10. Took 1 hour 35 minutes and I'm still shaking, hoping all goes well and nothing crashes. Everything seems brighter (whiter) or that may just be my imagination! Now to go find where to ask them to not "track" me... UPDATE: First disappointment and it's a biggie. I lost my three games that were built into Windows 7, and I played them most every day. All I have now is a card game that I can play with others on the internet, which I don't want. May go back to Windows 7. (Am I just being cranky?)

Click on the window in the left corner and look for settings. It should be close to the bottom. All the programs I had on my windows 8.1 worked. I noticed that there are times when they update nothing seems to work. Nothing indicates that they are updating and it is frustrating when I want to go to a folder and all I see is "working on it". That seems to be happening mostly at the beginning of the week. I often hard boot because it feels as if the computer has locked up.

the more I hear of Windows 10 the more I do not like it.. I am having enough problems with 8.. Maybe I'm getting to old to keep up.

It took hours when I did my laptop! I agree about the "brighter" thing.
