Made this sweatshirt for a lady who selected the design, and wanted it stitched on a shirt that she provided. The sweatshirt is a dark Grey, and the frame is a silver Grey, but not metallic. I like the detailed colors in the cardinal. They are such beautiful birds in their majestic reds. She was very happy with how it turned out. Hope you like it too.

Thanks, I was concerned about the color of the shirt when she gave it to me, but in the end it turned out well. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks so much. The bird details turned out better i thought they would, given the thread colors I had at the time.

This is just beautiful. I love it. Is this an Embroidery Library design?

I'm very impressed at how flat you were able to get this design? Can you share what you did to stabilize it? I love the thread colors that you chose. Just goes to show that using what you have on hand can have fabulous results!

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. This time, I used a black "no-show" stabilizer on the inside of the shirt, and a piece of clear heat sensitive film over the top. I have also used a medium weight cutaway stabilizer instead of the "no-show" for other sweatshirts I've done in the past and they stay flat as well.

Thank you Lillian. I was surprised to hear her make a specific request, as I have had others tell me to "just put 'something' on it". It is much less stressful when they at least give you an idea of what to do, and better yet when they are specific.

Emblibrary designs are very pretty. Has lots of shading and takes a long time to do but worth the results. The color sweatshirt is perfect behind the design.

Thank you. Yes, EL designs are usually pretty dense. But with enough stabilization, they do stitch out nicely.
