Email warning: I received an email that looked like it was from an embroidery website (owner). My email filter caught it as a spoofed name -- but I wanted you all to know that you should hover (your cursor) over the email sender to check the actual senders address before you open email you are not expecting.
I am sure this will continue/increase through the holidays.

Thanks so much rescuer. I don't understand these people who insist on doing these things. Always have to keep vigilant! Thanks again.

LOL...better edit that one. My phone cannot "understand me" sometimes! However, I do think all emails should be as clean as possible! LOL

Thank You- I really need to make this advice a habit for myself, as when you get so many emails from various groups it means you never know when an email should be arriving so checking any prior to opening is the best advice. I had one last week with the subject line- IMPORTANT -Please read, and was coming from a site owner and as they sometimes must make special announcements I did make the mistake of opening it, though thankfully I just saw the spam ad and no damage- This Time- Thank You for trying to keep us safe.

I have those all of the time rescuer. Once when I first got my computer, the computer got a virus that made it look like roaches were eating the screen .It was disgusting. My computer guru as I call her worked for a solid week to get that nasty thing off my computer..Lesson learned. Thanks for the reminder. Never hurts.

Yes, always a timely reminder to check out your emails. I delete everything/everyone that I don't know! Love Chris

That is a good idea too Chris. I just know there are some folks that know the owners of various websites. The email looks like it is from one of the embroidery website owners that I know.
