This is a round tu it project I have been going to get round and it is done. I went to get a sweatshirt to do this and did not find. I ended up cutting fleece and sewing patches to fleece making jacket pattern. I lined jacket with cotton lining. A cutie helped suggesting matching fabric buttons. I was thinking of using snaps but on this they would be too small and take away from the fabric. The fabric is from my upholstery fabric stash that I hope to use more of it up this winter season. This is a good winter start and this is a warm jacket.

It is lovely!
I am not sure it is my size -- but I could lose/gain weight! ;)

Thank you as I smile over the gain/lose. I have been fighting to lose. Problem is one part wants to be old the other don't. Wish the old part would leave me alone so I could lose it faster.

Truth is -- I cannot do either one. Wishing...

It's beautiful. I think this is a "ladies to lunch" jacket. I'm impressed I even know someone who made this - well, I don't know you, but you know what I mean. You'll have and wear this forever.

I'd have to make a matching brown or black tote (book) bag with patchy edges around the top. But, it probably would take away from your designer look!

Wow! I can see where you've been for a while. Takes a long time cutting and piecing and stitching. This is fabulous. It will be nice a warm and you'll be getting a lot of compliments when you wear it out. Yours is probably perfectly sewn together. Have you ever cut a bought sweatshirt apart?? Crooked everywhere. They always have to be trimmed up to match. Those fabrics are very pretty also. Goes together so well.
