Hi Cuties,
Hope someone can give me some ideas for these cork wine tubes. My daughter-in-law bought them at a craft sell and gave them to me. As my husband and I do not drink I am hoping to get some craft ideas to use them for. Christmas if possible. Does anyone have any ideas or know of a site with any? I've been searching but can not find anything for the tubes, just projects for empty wine bottles.Including a pic of them. Thanks in advance for any help.

How about a mini bulletin board for business cards or telephone numbers at your desk? Or a recipe holder (with a map tack) on the kitchen counter? Very attractive. Could run a little rick rack around the top and bottom if you just need it to look crafty.

I have seen similar ones in high end shops, intended for using instead of a gift bag when you give a bottle of wine to someone.
They do make pretty good knitting needle holders or for a gift other than wine how about some nice long tapered candles as a hostess gift?

No, they don't have candles. I really like the idea of snowmen or santa and his wife. My sister suggested nutcrackers or christmas soldiers. Not sure how to go about doing any of these as I can not do faces that look right. Thanks for all the suggestions. I really like them and never thought of them myself.

Could you print out faces from embroidery design you have or embroider one on fabric and glue it on. I can't draw either but would look at some way around the problem.
