A friend of mine from Saudi Arabia came to visit. This is the table runner and calendar holder I made for her. Now I need to get back to finishing the baby blanket that I have started. (Baby is due this month!)

That is a amazing table runner. I love the design. It is so typical middle eastern. I am sure she was delighted to get this gift. Better get going on that baby blanket. A month goes by so fast. :-)

I have seen this table runner pattern , it looks fantastic, The calendar holder , is it a panel or steam-a-seam? I always enjoy looking at what you have been up to. Thanks for sharing.

The owl on the calendar holder was a panel and then I just built it up around the pic til I had the desired length and width to fit the calendar.
