Mugrug
Much to my own surprise I liked the mugrugs. Decided to leave the autumn once and started on Christmas. Here's the first of three I made. Made some minor adjustments after this test, but it stitched out nicely.
The back is a cotton plaid - colour is a bit off, it's red and green with white stripes.

I don't know the name of this plaid but it is perfect. I just picked up a book of Tartan and Scottish Clans at an estate sale for my son in law as both his given name and Surname are Scottish. It will be a stocking stuffer along with usual socks gift for Christmas. Love you mug rugs! Kay
