I've been transferring information from my emails to a spreadsheet for the Secret Santa swap and I have been fantasising about visiting each and every one of you on the list as it would be an amazing world tour. Some of the addresses sound really exotic, a few are places I have already been and many are places I'd really like to visit.

Isn't it great that this community at least gives us a chance to virtually visit each other?
Wouldn't it be fantastic to have a fairy godmother sort out a real get together for us all?

What an exciting get together that would be!! May one of us will win some very large lottery and arrange it ..... well, if we are going to fantasize - we ought to make it really good!!

I love your idea! We can fantasize whatever we want! I wanted to organize a whole day of us stitching around the clock, and communicating as we covered the whole 24 hours. But I lost the energy to organize all that....

Well, we, being so very rich, could hire an organizer to do the organizing!! What do you think?

May I suggest you start with the warmer areas first that way the places that are unindated with snow have a chance to thaw. You would be very welcome here..

I wish I could gather courage to be on that list too. ...but believe me I really dont trust the postal service and would really be disappointed if they misplace or even delay the delivery!
I wonder how many from the middle east are on your list Sue :)?

South Africa and India are the nearest.

I think you should give it a go! Or maybe start out trying a one to one swap with someone you can contact to check if their item arrives :) There are people who would be willing to make sure something works, I am sure. If a few of us tried sending something surely at least one item will get to where it's supposed to be!

Thank you so much Marriane how sweet of you to encourage me :)
Well that sounds like a good idea that I can try at least....I might just be wrong about the postal service ( sure hope so..haha)
