He is cute. I don't have any kind of black or white fleece on hand. Has anyone tried doing this with felt?

felt would work too
I made some trials with felt...it works fine, a bit stiffer...but not good for the kiddles...it is not "Slobber Proof" and can't be washed...
I think I will try a practice one with felt and save it for a decoration. Then do more for the grands when I can get some fleece. I checked JoAnn's online today and there is a 3 yard min, for each color. With that much fleece I could make enough to reach all the way to the Arctic.
