UPDATED: So I didn't like the way the squared corners were, so I redesigned the mat and this one has Insul-Bright in it for hot items...I like it much better...How about you, Cuties...which one do you prefer?
This was a Challenge for my digitizing class in shading...I digitized this poinsettia and then decided it should be an ITH quilted table topper, so I digitized the table mat to be stipple quilted through and finished on the back...I also did the bow detail on the ends...I am pleased with the results, but I think next time, I will double up on the batting or use insul-bright for a hot pad. I have used some silver metallic in the poinsettia and leaves but it does not show as well in the photo as it does in person...I took the angle shot to see it better...it is 8x12 and done in one hooping...all finished in-the-hoop.
Gosh your designs are great.
sew talented!!! Thank you for sharing with us...
