Poinsettia - this fsl design was new at Urban Threads last week. I've been battling with it on and off for several days and have wasted quite a lot of wss and thread. I'm quite pleased with the finished product, but I don't think I will be making any more!

Now if someone can tell me where my paper fasteners are I can join it all together........

Beautiful piece, you could use pearls to join.

You did a beautiful job. I love it. This would be so pretty resting on a Christmas Tree. I will have to see if they still have it. Wish me luck.

I think it is that my new machine doesn't seem to like fsl so you shouldn't need luck!.

Can't help with the paper clips but I'm sure you will sort something out. The poinsettia does look great.

Oh you made me laugh. That is how it goes in my house. I have lots of craft stuff, just knowing where it is when I need it is the question.
Your poinsettia however turned out beautiful. I think I know where my paper fasteners are, till I want to get one to mail to you. :-)

This is beautiful. Wondering how you will use it.

It will probably hang on my tree.

This is an absolutely fabulous stitchout! Can't you just glue them together? Poinsettias usually have a yellow center, so maybe you can join them by stitching on yellow beads through all the layers.

I think that is what I will do.

Beautiful Sue, I'm with Penny - I'd glue them and have some of those little stamen looking things in yellow, or some small gold beads. Love Chris

Must have been labour intensive, but well with the effort put in. It is just beautiful. Sandra.

It's gorgeous. Maybe it should be tied onto the "big" gift to your DH each year? I'm tired of FSL right now. It either works or doesn't. Sometimes it's my hooping, sometimes it's their digitizing and I hate wasting all that expensive stabilizer material!

Me too!
That's exactly why I shy away, too. Last one didn't work out.

Use a decorative brad from a scrapbooking or a paper shop that specializes is wedding invitation or use fairy lights in the center. Even a decorative button with a shank. It does look beautiful
