I think a zipper on both sides would solve the problem. Even with elastic, I think the glasses could fall out. Kay

Great Idea, Carolyn! Keeps everything needed close at hand when in the car or truck. I like the cleaner look of not having the ruffled elastic but before I read that you had tried both and the glasses did not fall out, I too had thought that the items may fall out, if the visor were tipped upwards too far, as the ruffled elastic looked more secure. Therefore if these were to become a pattern or finished items offered at a booth or design site, I would be sure to have a picture showing that the items did not fall out, just to be sure that people understand that most items would be secure.
