Photos I keep in my sewing area. They remind me of the joy that I have brought to my family. They make me smile and remind me of one of the many reasons I love to create things. My girls/princesses are 19 and 21 now.

Aurora dress was made large for her on purpose so she could wear it a long time, and she did! Rapunzel hair is real. Cinderella dress was one of the very detailed patterns and was fun but time consuming. She is very tiny and I had to make it slim. It's only been used once.

What inspiration do you keep by your sewing/craft area?

(Frames are from the Disney Store years ago.)

I have some special art work that I keep in there. One is out of a child's book of a little girl praying with her teddy bear. Also, some neat old prints of floral bouquets. And, most important, I have a little stack of errors - a bib embroidered upside down, a newborn sweater embroidered upside down (hmmm - a trend noted here) and the newest, a sweatshirt with a big hole - still might put an applique on that. Just little reminders of what a bad day at the machine looks like!

Or a chance to use your creativity to re-purpose the errors.

I love wonderful reminders. I know it is not related , but I keep early art work of my daughter on my sewing room walls. Kay

These are wonderful, a walk down memory lane. So nice to keep these things close by, i have photos in my sewing room. Family and especially my Mother,as she was a dressmaker in her early days. Later on turning to crafts and charity work. Her photo gives me lots of inspiration and memories of what she used to sew, she would have liked to live in machine embroidery times i am sure as most of hers was done by hand or very basic machine compared to what we have today. I think my mother would be amazed, were she alive, to see me stitching away, ignoring my stacks of counted cross stitch books (for hand work)! She loved a white shirt with a bit of seasonal embroidery on it, probably had more than a dozen of Christmas, Thanksgiving, florals, spring, Valentine...

Love those pictures. The combination of the your daughters in their costumes in the matching frame is too cute.

Beautiful princesses in beautiful dresses. I do not have anything special expect for a couple of Jane Wooster Scott prints.

What lovely memories. I do not have a sewing area but sew in my sitting room. My walls are filled with cross stitch pictures that I made years ago and family photographs.
