pencil case this is 11 x 8 inches and i did not have a ith pattern for one that big so i used the same principal for the construction omitting the hoop and it turned out fine the fabric is denim and it is to go into christmas gifts for my g/daghter Ruby...soozie

It's really nice, she'll love it. Glad to see there's someone else making things out of the hoop. I realize that most here love doing it all with the embroidery machine, but sometimes some basic sewing does the job nicely. (and sometimes faster, IMO).
